  Dr. Symons was my primary care doctor for several years. Every year when I saw her she was short and got me out of there as quick as she could. It didn't matter too much to me until I had an actual issue. She was unfamiliar with what was going on with me but did get me into a dermatologist quickly. When we still couldn't get answers and I mentioned maybe getting another opinion to the dermatologist they sent me a list of alternative doctors. I did not use the list and the next year I saw Dr. Symons again. At that appointment she was the most friendly and chatty I had ever seen her. She asked me about the list of alternative doctors that was sent to me and why I would switch. I told her the dermatologist sent me that list in a moment of frustration but I did not plan to do anything with it and we would continue to try to figure out what was wrong if/when it happened again. She talked my ear off that day, made my appointment for next year and gave me a script for routine bloodwork. Two days later I got a certified letter, written on the day of my appointment that she was dropping me as a patient, say what!? I called and I was given to her medical assistant. They told me that she doesn't have to give me a reason for dropping me but then said "weren't you planning to switch doctors anyway?" I explained that Dr. Symons asked me that in my appointment and I told her no. I was told "well that doesn't matter, she doesn't have to give a reason and your appointment for next year has been canceled". I can not believe that a doctor like this is allowed to practice medicine and treat people that way. She obviously planned to drop me the whole time but didn't even have the guts to say face to face that this is where we part ways. From other reviews that I have read after the fact she seems to be fine with you until you have an actual problem, then she doesn't really want to deal with it. Steer clear! I have never had a problem with the BMG system of doing things but Dr. Nicole Symons definitely gives the BMG a bad name!
